B.Ed. — eligibility

Candidates should have successfully undergone the degree in 10+2+3 pattern of examination in the following disciplines from a recognized University: Tamil (B.A. / B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Computer Science, Commerce and Accountancy, Economics.

In case of Commerce and Accountancy / Economics, the candidates who fulfill the above norms should also have studied the same subject both at U.G. and P.G. level.

All the B.E. / B.Tech. graduates, irrespective of their branch in Engineering / Technology, are eligible to study Mathematics or Physical Science as pedagogy of a school subject.

Rules of reservation for selection in admission are as per the norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

M.Ed. — eligibility

Candidates should have successfully undergone B.Ed. degree from this University or any other recognized university to apply for admission to the M.Ed. degree programme.

• Total number of seats: 4 units
• Duration of the course: 2 years (semester pattern)
• Management quota: 200
• Course fee: As per government norms

Admission procedures

1. Application for admission to courses should be made in the prescribed application form, which is available on our college website and at the college office.
2. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. All details given by the candidates in the application form should be accurate.
3. Selected candidates should deposit all original certificates in the college; they will not be returned until completion of the course. Candidates are advised to take sufficient photocopies of all certificates before submitting the originals.
4. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Trainees who are dismissed on disciplinary grounds will forfeit the entire fees paid to the college.
5. A student once enrolled for the course is expected to complete the same. If a student wishes to leave at any time before completion, he/she will have to pay the entire fees for the course duration.

Enclose the following with a copy of the filled-in (online/offline) application to the college office

1. Four recent passport-size photographs.
2. Two photocopies each of the following:
   • 10^th mark sheet
   • 12^th mark sheet
   • U.G. mark statement(s)
   • U.G. degree / provisional certificate
   • If P.G.: P.G. degree / provisional certificate and P.G. mark statement(s)
   • Transfer certificate from the Principal of the institution last attended
   • Community certificate issued by a competent authority
   • Aadhaar card / colour Xerox of Aadhaar
